The Todd County Falcons used two big second half plays to rally from a 7-6 halftime deficit, to take a 20-13, hard fought win over the visiting Bennett County Warriors Friday night in high school football action.

Volleyball team nets three wins

BCHS hosted the Kadoka Kougars Tuesday, September 25 in volleyball action. It felt like our Homecoming game, there was a big crowd and a lot of cheers. Each Warrior team supplied a win for the night.

City audit “in really good shape”

“You’ve addressed all our questions  and hid no information from us,” remarked auditor Jim Gardner, in his report of the 2011 audit of the City’s finances. “We have no compliance issues, everything is accurate, balanced and in really good shape.”

Hines sings with Sugarland

Although she is married and has a family of her own, Carly Hines will always be her daddy’s little girl. The term of endearment has special meaning for the father and daughter duo of Terry Stuckey, of Yankton, and Carly Hines, of Martin.

BCHS Athletic Wall of Honor inducts 7

There were seven new members inducted into the Bennett County High School Athletic Wall of Honor Saturday night, Sept. 22, in Martin, joining last year's first class of 13 members. Joining the honored group were Rodney Rayhill, Abby Kratovil O'Neill, Michelle Olson Mikkelsen, Norm Olmstead, Mike Buckles, Coach Dale Brooks and Bob King.
