Bennett County to host Lead-Deadwood in Football Playoffs

Bennett County will host Lead-Deadwood Tuesday, Oct. 27, in the first round of the South Dakota High School Football Playoffs, after defeating St. Francis 52-0 on a rainy, cool night in St. Francis Thursday evening. Lead-Deadwood lost to Custer 17-0, but sneaked by Little Wound with a few more power points for the number three seed.

Golf Tournament Postponed

The Markota Acres Golf Course, three person scramble has been postponed from October 3 to October 10 due to weather. BCHS Wall of Honor adds seven new inductees

The fifth annual Bennett County High School Athletics Wall of Honor banquet presented the latest class of inductees last Saturday night at the American Legion dining hall in Martin.
