Cochran, Myron

Myron Edward Cochran, 92, of Oglala, S.D., passed away April 10, 2017, in Custer. 

He was a veteran of the US Army.

Myron Edward Cochran was born on December 7, 1924, in Fox Ridge, to Lawrence Cochran and Eva (Patterson) Cochran. Myron passed away on April 10, 2017, at the Custer Senior Care Center in Custer.

Myron is survived by his wife, Mildred Cochran, Oglala; daughter, Vallie Bissonette, St. Paul, Minn.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three nieces; one nephew; and sister-in-law, Janice Aldean, Newell.

Myron was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Eva Cochran; son, Richard Cochran; brothers Faye Aldean and Lee Aldean; sister, Margaret Gabrielson; and grandchild, Marina Cochran.

Viewing services were held from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 14, at the Sioux Funeral Home in Pine Ridge.

Burial services were held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, April 14, at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis.
