Dorothy Suzie Lone Wolf-Tilden, 86, of Columbus, Neb. passed away May 30, 2017, in Columbus.
Dorothy Suzie Lone Wolf-Tilden was born on January 30, 1931, in Allen, to Felix Lone Wolf and Jennie (Nelson) Lone Wolf. Dorothy made her journey to the Spirit World on May 30, 2017 at her home in Columbus.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Donald Tilden, Columbus; daughters, Jennie Tilden and Linda Flores both of Columbus; sister, Angie White Face, Omaha; 16 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Jennie Lone Wolf; spouse, Loring Tilden; son, Thomas Lone Wolf; daughter, Sandra Tilden; brothers, George and Thomas Lone Wolf; sisters, Emma Monroe, Julie Poor Bear, Catherine DuBray, and Connie Barnes; hunka parents, Kate and George Flesh; and grandchildren, Slade Garcia, Levi Tilden, and Aiden Tilden.
A two night wake service was held with the first night at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, June 3, at the Allen CAP Office in Allen, and the second night at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 4, at the Indian Mission Church of God in Alliance, Neb.
Funeral services began at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 5, at the Indian Mission Church of God in Alliance, with Reverend Don Mink and Pastor Ken Trivettte officiating. Mr. Steve DuBray performed the traditional Lakota service.
Burial services were held at the Calvary Cemetery in Alliance.
