Randolph Wayne Larrabee-Long Soldier, 58, made his journey into the Spirit World with his loving family by his side on June 25, 2017 at the Fire Steel Health Care in Mitchell, SD. Randolph was born on November 9, 1958 in Rapid City, to William “Bill” Larrabee and Florence Long Soldier-Larrabee. Randolph was a United States Army Veteran.
Randolph is survived by his brother, Terry Long Soldier, Sioux Falls; sons, Wayne Larrabee, Rapid City, and Randall (Amanda) Larrabee, Hot Springs; step son, Franklin Whiting, Jr. and Dakota Iron Hawk, both of Sioux Falls; step daughters, Dorene Sabal Camacho and Aplelia Whiting, both of Sioux Falls; step dad, Kenneth Prairie Chicken, Rapid City; and ex-wife, Diane Kills In Water, Sioux Falls.
Randolph was preceded in death by his parents, William “Bill” Larrabee and Florence Long Soldier-Larrabee.
A two night wake service started at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, July 1, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, with Rosary Services at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 2, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall in Kyle.
Funeral services began at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 3, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, with Father Chris Johnson, S.J., Father Edmunda Yainao, Violoa “Cissy” Loafer, John Apple, Ruby Clifford, and Bonnie Standing Soldier officiating.
Burial services were held at 2:30 p.m., July 3, at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis.
