Charles Thomas Montileaux, Jr., 33, of Kyle, S.D., passed away September 13, 2017, in Sioux Falls.
Charles Thomas Montileaux, Jr. was born on June 26, 1984, in Pine Ridge, to Charles Thomas Montileaux, Sr. and Alverine Wounded Head. Charles, Jr. passed away on September 13, 2017, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls.
Charles, Jr. is survived by his father, Charles (Kim) Montileaux, Sr., Kyle; sisters, Naomi Montileaux, Rapid City, and Miriam Montileaux, Pierre; grandparents, Barbara Short Horn and Francis Montileaux, Sr. both, Kyle; aunts, Loraine Short Horn, Arnelle Two Crow, Marlene McDonald, Molanna Clifford, Kateri Montileaux, Toni Montileaux, and Amber Montileaux all of Kyle; Marilyn Wounded Head, Kansas, and Jolene Abourezk, Rapid City; uncles, James Two Crow, Francis Montileaux, Jr., and William Montileaux all of Kyle, Waylon Under Baggage, Wounded Knee, and Anthony Wounded Head, Evergreen; nephew, Kincaid Roach, Rapid City,; and niece, Angelica Montileaux, Kyle.
Charles, Jr. was preceded in death by his mother, Alverine Wounded Head; grandparents, Garfield, Sr. and Hanna Wounded Head; aunt, Arlene Wounded Head-LaPointe; and uncle, Garfield Wounded Head II.
A two night wake service will begin at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 21, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 23, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, with Pastor Charles and Kim Montileaux officiating.
Burial services will be held at the St. Barnabas Episcopal Cemetery in Kyle.
