Clevia Marie Fire Thunder, 43, of Denver, Colo., passed away December 28, 2017, in Englewood, Colo.
Clevia Marie Fire Thunder was born on April 19, 1974, in Pine Ridge, to Christopher E. Fire Thunder II and Helen Red Feather. Clevia passed away on December 17, 2017, at the Swedish Medical Center in Englewood.
Clevia is survived by her mother, Helen Red Feather, Wounded Knee; children, Precious Fire Thunder, Wounded Knee, and Ariana Lundstrom-Munoz, Denver; brothers, Clifton Red Feather, Wounded Knee, Antonio Frazier, Kyle, Chris Fire Thunder III and Mahto Fire Thunder both of Rapid City; and sister, Rachel Fire Thunder, Rapid City.
Clevia was preceded in death by her father, Christopher Evans Fire Thunder II; nephew, Isaiah Fire Thunder; grandmother, Pearl Fire Thunder; aunts, Geraldine White Dress and Wanda Siers; uncles, Benjamin Fire Thunder and Ross Red Feather; and cousins, Wallace Little, Jeremy Little, and cousin-brother, Jefferson Red Feather.
A two night wake service started at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 1, at the Church of God in Wounded Knee.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 3, at the Church of God in Wounded Knee, with Ms. Darla Black performing the Traditional Lakota services.
Cremation will follow services.
