Robert Terry Red Feather, Jr., “Maza’sa Hoksila” was born on April 10, 1984, in Pine Ridge, to Robert Terry Red Feather, Sr. and Cleo Weasel Bear. Robert made his journey to the Spirit World on February 26, 2018, in Rapid City.
Robert is survived by his sons, Caleb J. “Sonny” Red Feather and Gideon T. “Giddy” Red Feather both of Rapid City; father, Robert Terry Red Feather, Sr., Mission Flat; auntie mom, Lisa “Momma Rose” Two Bulls, #4 Community; sisters, Miranda Red Feather, Rapid City, Marrietta Red Feather, Neopit, Wiss., Deb Red Feather, Fort Deuchesne, Utah, Charity Martin, Rapid City, Tiffany Russell, Winnebago, Neb., Jolene Red Feather, Sioux Falls, Roberta Red Feather, Rapid City, Lisa Red Feather, Billings, Mont., Melissa Two Bulls, Marissa Two Bulls, and Tlana Two Bulls all of #4 Community; brothers, Harold “Bro” Two Bulls, Jr., Fort Deuchesne, Utah, Harley “Mister” Cortier, Wakpamni, Daniel “DJ” Cortier, #4 Community, Lloyd Two Bulls, Rapid City, and Amos Two Bulls, Winnebago; adopted brothers, John Mesteth, Olympia, Wash., Tim Black Bear, Bull Black Bear, and Rob Lawerance all of Pine Ridge, and Ira Colhoff, Rapid City; grandmothers, Suzanne Swallow and Josephine Fast Wolf both of Red Shirt Table; uncles, Patrick “Pat” Two Bulls, Leo Two Bulls, and Harold Two Bulls all of #4 Community, Sylvester “Lil Suba” Two Bulls, Rapid City, Lawrance Two Bulls, Jr., Red Shirt Table, and Quincy Red Feather, Mission Flat; aunties, Arlene Hawk, Red Shirt Table, Lucille Red Feather, Sioux Falls, and Theresa Red Feather, Mission Flat.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Cleo Weasel Bear-Red Feather; one infant siblings; grandparents, Mary Weasel Bear, Maurice Wounded, Ruth Waters-Red Feather, and Joseph Red Feather; and brothers, Patrick “Lil Pat” Two Bulls, Casey Two Bulls and Steven “Chick” White Magpie.
A two night wake service started at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 4, at the Red Shirt Table School Gym in Red Shirt Table, with the second night at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 5, at the Oglala Re-Creation Center in Oglala.
Funeral services began at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 6, at the Re-Creation Center in Oglala.
Burial services were held at the Afraid of His Horses Cemetery, #4 Community.
