Todd County’s Aiden Bizarde started hot and didn’t cool down much as he torched the nets for 41 points against the Bennett County Warriors Saturday in Martin, leading the visiting Falcons to a 76-54 win. Bizarde made 9 three pointers on the night and Todd County made 16 as a team.

Lady Warriors fall to Lady Falcons in season opener

It was a tough way to start the season for the Bennett County Lady Warriors, against one of the top five girls basketball teams in the state, Todd County, and the Lady Falcons showed off their talent in a 78-29 win in Martin Saturday.

Lady Warriors lose two matches

The Bennett County Lady  Warriors started their 2017 volleyball season on the road with a triangular with Stanley County and Wall.

In the first match, Stanley County won in three sets, 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

In the match against Wall, the Eagles were victorious over the Lady Warriors, 25-14, 25-15, 25-17.

Warriors shut out Mustangs 25-0

Bennett County traveled to Kyle last Friday to face the Little Wound Mustangs in high school football action, playing in the first night game ever at the school. The Mustangs held their first game on their new field, complete with new lights, but the visiting Warriors used a strong defensive effort to take a 25-0 win.

Warriors wrap up season with 50-0 win, playoffs likely

The Bennett County Cross Country team ran at the Douglas meet on Friday, August 25. There were 15 schools at the meet. 

Boys varsity ran a 5K. There were 56 runners with a winning time of 16:38.

Warriors suffer first loss at hands of the Bison

Bennett County took on the Hot Springs Bison Friday night in Martin and the 11A visitors flexed their muscle on their way to a convincing 44-0 win.

Hot Springs scored 13 first quarter points on a pair of one yard runs by Kalub Wilson and a kick after by Matt Norton.
