Several Bennett County athletes competed in the South Dakota State Class A Track and Field Meet last Friday in Tea and Saturday in Sioux Falls, with Tee Allen the lone Warrior placer with a seventh in the high jump, clearing 6’1.”
Garrett Hodson finished 17th in the 110 hurdles with a time of 19.14.
Rachel Ireland took 14th in the prelims of the 100 meter dash with a 13.24 clocking.
James Nelson competed in the throws, finishing 15th in the shot put with a toss of 44’1.” In the Discus, Nelson finished 14th with a throw of 129’ 3.”
In the girls high jump, Lainee Link tied for 14th with a leap of 4’7.”
In the girls 4x100 meter relay, Bennett County finished 23rd with a time of 56.72, with Haley Mooney, Eden Fanning, Josie May,and Rachel Ireland running.
The Bennett County boys sprint medley relay team of Jared Harris, Garrett Hodson, Tee Allen, Elliot DuBray finished 24th with a time of 4:04.46.
Elliot DuBray finished 28th in the 3200 meter run with a 11:26.35 time.
