The Jr. High Volleyball teams hosted the Bennett County Invitational Tournament Oct. 6 in Martin.
In the 7th grade pool play, Bennett County captured 2nd in the pool. These girls played their hearts out all day, playing with only five girls on the court for many of their sets.

Bennett County fall athletics season is scheduled to begin in the coming weeks. Athletes are reminded that physical forms must be on file or brought to the first practice before participation is allowed. (Note that the physical must have been taken since the end of last year.) Bennett County Senior John O’Neill finished his high school track career by finishing sixth in the state in the 110 meter high hurdles Saturday in Rapid City at the South Dakota Class A State Track and Field Meet. O’Neill’s time was 16.31 on a cold and rainy morning.
