Legal Description: Beginning at the most westerly point of Outlot B located in the Northwest Quarter (NW ¼) of Section Eight (8) in the Township Thirty-seven (37) North, Range Thirty-seven (37), West of the 6th P.M., Bennett County, South Dakota as fixed and determined by the plat thereof which is filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Bennett County, South Dakota in Book 1 of Plats, page 103; thence proceeding East along the Southern boundary of said Outlot B a distance of Five Hundred Thirty five (535) feet, thence due North a distance of approximately Three Hundred Twenty-one (321) feet to the place where such line intersects the Northern boundary line of said Outlot B, thence in a Southwesterly direction a distance of approximately Seven Hundred Eighty (780) feet to the point of beginning; containing two (2) acres more or less, with all land improvements.
To Penny Garnette, the owner of record of the aforementioned described real property; and person in whose name said property is taxed and person in possession; to the City of Martin; to Credit Collections Bureau; and to the Internal Revenue Service who have small claims or judgments. And any other persons or entity who may have an interest in the aforementioned property.
You are hereby notified that, at sale of land and lots for unpaid taxes by the County Treasurer of Bennett County, South Dakota, the aforesaid real property situated in Bennett County, South Dakota, was first offered for sale at public auction to competitive bidders. Not having been sold for want of bidders, said County Treasurer’s Certificate of sale was issued by the County Treasurer of Bennett County, South Dakota, who is now the lawful owner thereof. The right of redemption will expire and deed for said lot will be made upon expiration of sixty days from completed service of notices.
