Notice of Bid Letting
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: The Board of Bennett County Commissioners in and for the County of Bennett will receive sealed competitive bid proposals on December 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., in the Commissioner’s meeting room at the Bennett County Courthouse for supplying 35,000 ton 1” crushed gravel at gravel pit located in Jackson County S½ Sec 24 T41 R40.
All bids are to be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or bank draft payable to Bennett County for 5 percent of the bid amount; or a bid bond issued by a surety company authorized to do business in South Dakota for 10 percent of the bid amount. All sealed bids must be filed in the Bennett County Auditor’s Office or mailed to the Bennett County Auditor, PO Box 460, Martin, SD 57551. Bids must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. (MT), December 20, 2018. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as “Crushed Gravel Bid”.
The Bennett County Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to accept the bid that is in the best interest to Bennett County.
