Justin Risse named Horizon Health Care Employee of the Year

HOWARD, S.D. – Horizon Health Care, Inc. (Horizon) is pleased to award the 3rd Annual Employee of the Year award to Justin Risse of Martin, S.D. This award is designed to recognize staff that embodies the spirit of care Horizon strives to provide its patients and communities, as well as those who exhibit professional qualities supporting Horizon’s mission, vision, and values.

Justin has been employed with Horizon since February 2016. He began his career as a Front Desk employee for Martin Community Health Center and then was promoted to Site Coordinator for Martin Community Health Center and Martin Dental Clinic in July 2017. 

“Justin’s passion for the patients we serve and for the Martin community is commendable,” said Christina Konechne, Horizon Chief Operations Officer. “He always goes above and beyond what is asked of him and is a true team player. He is always advocating for what is best for our patients and acts with professionalism and integrity. He is extremely deserving of this award and we are grateful for his continued commitment to Martin CHC and Dental Clinic.” 

Justin resides in Martin with his fiancée and young daughter.
