Ford program raises $3,020 for BCHS

Martin’s Bair  Ford hosted the third Drive 4 UR School event during Homecoming week at Bennett County High School and that raised $3,020 for the school to be split equally between 12 school programs.

The 12 programs that helped put on the event and receiving funds are: football, volleyball, boys golf, cheerleading, band, girls basketball, boys basketball, track, National Honor Society, wrestling, Key Club and student council.

The Drive One 4 UR School program is not a new concept – it’s actually a five-year-old initiative that has already raised more than $10 million through nearly 3,000 events.  Schools have used this money to fund educational programs ranging from athletics to music, even to fix damages from natural disasters!

Dealers provide the vehicles for test-drives, while the high school helps organize the event. Both work together to get the word out to their community. For every valid test-drive completed, Ford donated $20 to the high school, up to $6,000.

The event has raised nearly $10,000 for the school programs over the three year period.
