Ronald Jason Titus “Ozuye Hoksila”, 42, of Pine Ridge, S.D., passed away February 7, 2018, in Pine Ridge.
Ronald Jason Titus was born on January 25, 1976, in Pine Ridge, to Tilmer Titus and Arlene Goings. Ronald made his journey to the Spirit World on February 7, 2018, at the Pine Ridge I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge.
Ronald is survived by wife, Lorna (Pourier) Titus, Pine Ridge; father, Tilmer Titus, Rushville, Neb.; siblings, Garnette Titus and Annette Irving both of Pine Ridge; Newland Titus, Candy Titus, Justin Titus, and Jolene Titus all of Idaho; hunka father, Mike Little Boy, Sr., Porcupine; grandchildren, Mateo Whirlwind Horse, Riley Pourier, and Elias Anduja all of Rapid City; and Lucias Pourier, Pine Ridge; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene “Choach” Goings; and grandparents, Julius and Elizabeth (Good Buffalo) Titus and Etta Goings.
A one night wake service started 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 11, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, with Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services began at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 12, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, with Mr. Charles McGaa officiating. Mr. Mike Little Boy, Sr. performed the traditional Lakota service.
Burial services were held at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery, Pine Ridge.
