Lynell Kay Morrison-Cash, 46, of Pine Ridge, S.D., passed away February 23, 2018, in Rushville.
Lynell Kay Morrison-Cash, was born on July 5, 1971, in Pine Ridge, to Alphonso Morrison, Sr. and Doris (Good Voice Elk) Morrison. Lynell made her journey on February 23, 2018, near Rushville.
Lynell is survived by her daughter, Jessica Cash, Pine Ridge; son, Paul Morrison, Jr., Pine Ridge; hunka son, Tristan Pond, Pine Ridge; god daughter, Crystelle Miranda, Cincinnati, Ohio; siblings, Anita (David) Wounded Head, Potato Creek, Charity (Kenneth) Morrison-Hill, Pine Ridge, Erna Morrison, Hay Springs, Neb., Peggy Morrison, Belle Fourche, Wanda (William) Corey, Boston, Mass., Alphonso (Yvonne) Morrison, II, Rapid City, Nadine Morrison, Slim Buttes, Randi (Will) Morrison, Paul Morrison, Sr., and Lionel Morrison, all of Pine Ridge, Deloris (Danny) Ferguson, Kyle, Pam (Leon) Little Moon, Gordon, and Victoria (Tim) Blankenship, Rapid City; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Lynell was preceded in death by her parents, Alphonso, Sr. and Doris Morrison; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Cash; son, Waylon Cash; nephews, James McLaughlin and Cleveland “Joey” Wounded Head; and niece, Jaimie Morrison.
A two night wake service started at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 1, at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, with evening services at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services began at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 3, at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, with Pastor Kim Montileaux, Patrick Ashley, Chris Morgan, Rodger Rinker, and Alex Bad Bear officiating.
Burial services were held at the St. Timothy Cemetery, Potato Creek.
