Linda Mae (Red Elk) Randall, 74, of Norfolk, Neb. passed away April 24, 2018, in Norfolk.
Linda Mae (Red Elk) Randall was born on April 8, 1944, in Pine Ridge, S.D. to George and Louise (LaDeaux) Red Elk. Linda made her journey to the Spirit World on April 24, 2018, at the Golden Living Center in Norfolk.
Linda is survived by her children, Mike Mesteth, Sheila Jumping Elk, Myrle Mesteth, Melinda Mesteth, Arlin Mesteth, Myron Mesteth, Kathleen Randall, Theodore “Ted” Randall and Philip Randall; siblings, Ruth Ann Red Elk, Agnes, Dolly and Vern; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, George and Louise Red Elk; husband, Theodore Edward “Ted” Randall, Sr.; children, Howard and Donna Mesteth; and siblings, Philip Red Elk, Moses Red Elk and Shirley Red Elk.
A one night wake started at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, at the St. Agnes Catholic Church Hall in Manderson.
Funeral services began at 9:00 a.m., Monday, April 30, at the St. Agnes Catholic Church Hall in Manderson, with Ms. Joyce Tibbitts officiating and Ms. Darla Black performed the traditional Lakota service.
Burial services were held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, April 30, at the Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis.
