Myrna Eva Eagle Hawk, 50, of Oglala, S.D. passed away on December 30, 2018 at Rapid City.
Myrna Eva Eagle Hawk was born on December 18, 1968 in Pine Ridge to Tibbitts Eagle Hawk and Hannah Kills In Water. Myrna made her journey to the Spirit World on December 30 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Myrna is survived by her children, Vanna Bear Saves Life, Paul Bear Saves Life, Verdell Bear Saves Life, and Patricia Carlow, all of Oglala; sister, Gabrielle Fights Over, Oglala; brothers, Tibbitts Eagle Hawk, Jr. and Verdell Eagle Hawk, both of Oglala; grandchildren, Kaydence Moves Camp, Mary Bear Saves Life, Theresa Red Cloud, Rhiannon Bad Heart Bull, Mya Eagle Hawk, Choleah Cortier, Cheyem Cortier and numerous grandchildren; nieces, Deanna Eagle Hawk, Sonia Fights Over, Juanita Denise Eagle Hawk, and Angel Eagle Hawk; and nephews, Travis Brown, Justin Eagle Hawk, and Jesse Eagle Hawk.
Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, Tibbitts Eagle Hawk, Sr. and Hannah Kills In Water; sister, Violet Eagle Hawk; brother, Harold “Tucker” Eagle Hawk; and nephew, Lambert Eagle Hawk.
A one night wake service started at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala with evening services starting at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Services started at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 7 at the Brother Rene Hall.
Officiating were Elder Donovan Youngman and Elder Madeline Terry.
Burial Services were held at Makasan Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Oglala.
