Georgia Ann Green “PeeWee” was born on May 15, 1949, in Kyle, S.D., to George Green and Emma Jane (Baker) Green. She was a member and a child of the Knife Clan of the Three Affiliated Tribes in North Dakota. Georgia, 70, of Rapid City made her journey to the Spirit World on August 9, 2019, in New Town, N.D. She was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Blessed to have been a part of her life is her son, Kyle Red Willow, Rapid City; daughters, Stacey and Corry Ann Red Willow, both of Rapid City; grandchildren, Matthew and Emmalynn Jane, Julia and Shelby Red Willow-Galligo and Conrad Red Willow; great-grandchildren, Adrian Brown Eyes and Franklin Walter; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, George and Emma Jane Green; sisters, June Wilcox, Sharon Bowman and Doris McGrady; brothers, Harry James Green and Don McGrady; nephew, Alvin Wilcox; and father of her children, Conrad Red Willow.
Pallbearers will be: Chet Bowman, Kevin Bowman, Ed Bowman, Matthew Janis, Tim McGrady, Justin Sharp, C.J. LaMont and Henry LaMont.
Wake Services: Two night wake service starting at 4:00 PM, Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the Crazy Horse School in Wanblee, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM each night.
