Beverly Ann Tuttle-Jackson, “Anpo Aozanzan Najin Win,” (The Light of Dawn Shines On Her), 67, of Porcupine, S.D., passed away May 9, 2020, in Porcupine.
Beverly Ann Tuttle-Jackson, “Anpo Aozanzan Najin Win,” (The Light of Dawn Shines On Her), was born on June 12, 1952, to Lillian (Iron Cloud) Tuttle and David Tuttle. Beverly made her journey to the Spirit World at her home while in hospice care surrounded by her family.
Beverly is survived by her granddaughters, Tashaun (Jonas) Jackson-Horse Looking, Porcupine, Kyra Jackson, Kyle; great-granddaughter, Nyna Jackson, Porcupine; John Jackson, Porcupine; daughter/niece, Annette Eagle Bull, Porcupine; sisters, Donna Eagle Bull, Porcupine; Irene Tuttle, Pine Ridge, Fern Tuttle, Mary Iron Cloud, Emily Koenen, Eileen Iron Cloud, Stella Iron Cloud, Danielle Two Eagle, Ethleen Iron Cloud-Two Dogs, and Esther Iron Cloud all of Porcupine; uncle, Vernon Iron Cloud, Wakpala; aunt, Mary Rose Dillon, Martin; hunka brother, David Archambault, Fort Yates, N.D.; hunka sister, Penny Giago, Pine Ridge, several nieces and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Elijah Jackson; parents, Lillian Iron Cloud-Tuttle and David Tuttle; siblings, Hank Tuttle, Harold Tuttle, Everett Tuttle, and Bill Tuttle; niece, Cinnamon Twiss; and nephews, Gerard Eagle Bull and David Tuttle.
Visitation services were held from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 15, at the Bev Tuttle residence on Tuttle Lane near Porcupine.
Graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, May 15, at the St. Alban’s Episcopal Cemetery near Evergreen Community, Porcupine, with Father Ron Seminara, S.J. officiating.
