Roberta Miller, 66, of Crooks, S.D., passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020, at her home.
Roberta Jean (Bobbie) Miller (Rayhill) was born in Martin, South Dakota on March 13, 1954. She was preceded in death by her Mom and Dad, grandparents and several beloved pets. Roberta attended school in Martin. The highest job she held before marriage, was Deputy Auditor for Bennett County.
Roberta was united in marriage with Donald Miller on April 2, 1988. The couple lived in Huron where Don had been and was working for the National Weather Service from April 1988 until August 1994. Don was then transferred to the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Sioux Falls, S.D. and they made their home in Crooks, S.D.
When not working, she enjoyed arts and crafts, crocheting, especially hats for newborn infants, gardening, stamping, jigsaw and crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed shooting and fishing with her brothers and husband. Motorcycling with her brother, Jarod. She also enjoyed cooking and was an excellent cook.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Donald, Crooks, S.D.; brothers Gary (Kathy) Rayhill, Martin, S.D., Jarod Rayhill and Nancy Forst, Rapid City, S.D.; nieces Jessica (Mike) Jager, Lisa Rayhill; and many other relatives and friends.
Services were held at Miller Funeral Home, 507 South Main Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD.
