Cherry Cortier

Cherry Lynn Cortier, 38, made her journey to the Spirit World on May 12, 2021, at the Bennett County Hospital in Martin.

She was born on November 18, 1982 to Charles Cortier, Sr. and Minerva  Bear Killer in Pine Ridge.

Cherry Lynn is survived by her daughters Daisy Lafferty and Daiz Cortier; son Damien Lafferty; brothers Chuck (Charlene), Stacy (Lucy), Andrew (Gerldene), George (Angie), and Tyler (Jamier) Cortier; and sister Jessie Cortier all of Allen.

Cherry was preceded in death by her parents Charles Cortier and Minerva Bear Killer; and brother Judd Cortier.

A one night wake service will start at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 21, at the Inestimable Gift Episcopal Church in Allen.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 22, at the Inestimable Gift Episcopal Church in Allen with Pastor Tim Wardell officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be by Vernal White Thunder with burial services to follow at the Inestimable Gift Episcopal Cemetery in Allen.
