Bonnie F. Portwood was born Feb. 23, 1938 in Rosebud to Gilbert and Lucille (Stratton) Peck.
Bonnie passed away on Feb. 16, 2021, at Life Care Center in Cheyenne, Wyo.
She was caretaker of her children and grandchildren. She was previously the Activities Director at Platte County Senior Services. Then she worked at the Community Thrift Store. She was a long time member of the All Saints Episcopal Church in Wheatland, Wyo.
Bonnie is survived by her son and daughter, Gib (Dawn) Peck, Farmington, N.M.; their children, Elizabeth (Cluff) Elliott, Farmington and daughters Alora and Lola; Jeffery Peck, Farmington; Christa Peck and daughter Jasmine Ulibarri, Farmington.
Daughter Nancy Taylor (Jon Potter), Wheatland, Wyo. Nancy’s children Jennifer Lema, Cheyenne, Wyo.; Justin Lema, Wheatland, Wyo. Step children Elizabeth Bishop, Mont.; Glenn Portwood, Wheatland, Wyo.
Sisters Billie Jo (Tony) Larvie, Riverton, Wyo.; Cathy Peck, Rapid City; Elsie (Jim) Meeks, Interior; brother Louie (Donna) Peck, Wayne City, Ill. And many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Lucille Peck; great granddaughter Tasa Jade Peck; brothers Darrel, Bobby, Neil, and Clinton Peck; and sister Ethel Whitcher.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on June 18, at All Saints Episcopal Church in Martin. Burial and graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on June 19, at the Martin Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to All Saints Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 997, Wheatland, Wyo. 82201.
