Floriberto Parra-Munoz Jr.

Floriberto “Indio” Parra-Munoz Jr., 28, of North Platte, Neb., passed away October 17, 2012, in North Platte.

A one night wake was held Sunday, October 21, at the Billy Mills Hall, Pine Ridge, S.D.

Funeral were held Monday, October 22, at the Billy Mills Hall, Pine Ridge, with Mr. Charles McGaa officiating, and traditional Lakota services led by Mr. Rick Two Dogs. 

Burial was held at Holy Rosary Catholic Mission Cemetery, Pine Ridge.

Survivors include his parents; grandmother, Edna Bluebird, Pine Ridge; three brothers, Filemon Parra-Munoz, Rocky Ford, Briano Jose Parra-Munoz, North Platte, and Joseph (Jobe) Red Shirt, Pine Ridge; two sisters, Belecya Parra-Munoz, North Platte, and Ashley Spotted Elk, Pine Ridge; aunt, Peggy Goodwin, North Platte, Theresa Water and Uncle Santos Parra, and niece, Canelo Parra-Munoz and nephew, Santiago Parra-Munoz.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Emma Bicenti Parra-Munoz, grandmother, Regina Grabbing Bear, grandfather, Patricio Parra-Munoz, grandmother, Belbina Parra-Munoz, and aunt, Alicia Parra-Ramirez.
