James Vernon Yellow Boy Jr.

James Vernon Yellow Boy Jr., 22, of Pine Ridge, passed away October 24, 2012, in Calico, S.D.

A one night wake service will start at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, October 28, at the Sacred Heart Church, Pine Ridge.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 29, at 10 a.m., at the Holy Rosary Mission Church, Pine Ridge, with Father Peter Klink, S.J. officiating. 

Burial will be held at Yellow Boy Family Cemetery, Calico.

Survivors include his mother, Tessie Yellow Boy, Calico; brother, Eric Yellow Boy, New Town, N.D.; sisters, Angie Yellow Boy– Stinson, Rushville, Neb., Rosa Yellow Boy–Vocu, Calico, Sarah Yellow Boy, Rapid City, and Brenda Yellow Boy–Bad Heart Bull, Calico.

James was preceded in death by father, James Vernon Yellow Boy Sr.; grandparents, Agnes and Tom Yellow Boy, and Pearl Bissonette.
