BCHS Volleyball vs Gregory/ Lyman

The Bennett County Lady Warrior volleyball team hosted the Gregory Lady Gorillas for their second home game on Tuesday, September 17. The Lady Warriors fell in a three to one battle to the evenly matched Lady Gorillas.
The first set was evenly scored all the way with the Lady Gorillas ending up on top with a 25-21 win.
In the second set Gregory started out with a 3-0 lead but a kill from Emma Byrne put the Warriors on the board. Gregory kept the Warriors at bay with big blocks, kills and hard serves from senior Brooklyn VanDerWerff. Bennett County struggled capitalizing on plays helping Gregory take the second set 25-19.

On Saturday, September 21, the Bennett County Lady Warriors hosted the Lyman Lady Raiders for an A, B and C match up. The Lady Warriors fought hard but Lyman picked up wins in all three games.
The first set started out slow for Lady Warriors. Lyman controlled multiple long runs; constantly staying ahead of BC for a 25-17 win.
In the second set, big kills from Warrior senior, Laska Ward, kept the Lady Warriors in the game. The Lady Raiders were again able to run the Lady Warriors to a 21-14 lead. Bennett County battled back with smart plays but fell in the set, 25-20.
The third set was where the Warriors shined. Big runs and long rallies pushed BC to a 20-11 lead and eventually to a 25-16 victory.
Set number four kept the crowd on the edge of their seat with constant back and forth rallies. The point gap was never larger than three points. Smart plays by both teams led the game tied a 28-28. The Lady Warriors profited from a long rally, and a big kill from Nicole Porch secured the set for the Warriors 30-28.
