Cross country finishes season at Region meet

The Bennett County cross country team ended their season at the Region 5A meet in Pine Ridge on Thursday, October 17.
There were 11 teams competing in the tough region.
Girls varsity had 52 runners and ran a 5K .
Taylor Byerley 22:50 26th
Tegyn Kolb 25:57 41st
Kaitlyn DuBray 26:16 44th
Winning the region was Abby Cutler of Hill City with a time of 19:18. The last placing time for state was 22:10.
Girls junior varsity ran a 5K and had 18 runners.

Winning the region was Sawyer Clarkson of Belle Fourche with a time of 16:31. The last placing time for state was 18:43.
Boys junior varsity had 35 runners and ran a 5K.
