Lady Warriors fall in three to young Philip team

On Tuesday, October 22, the Bennett County Lady Warriors hosted Philip and fell 3-0 to the young Lady Scotties.

To start the first set, the Lady Warriors kept it close, not letting Philip get out of their reach. The Lady Warriors capitalized on a few short runs, keeping them within five points, until Philip’s Copper Lurz hammered a couple of big kills helping Philip finish the set 25-18.

The second set started with a long, exciting rally that ended in the favor of the home Warriors. Big kills from junior Nicole Porch pushed the Lady Warriors ahead in the match. It was point to point throughout the entire set, until Lurz came back with a big kill, changing the momentum and leading Philip to a 25-19 win.

In the third set the Lady Warriors jumped out to a quick lead and kept it for most of the set. The Lady Warriors ended up falling 25-19.
