Lady Warriors topple Red Cloud

The Bennett County Ladies hosted Red Cloud Tuesday, October 2, for volleyball action.
The C Team played an exciting match, winning the first set 25-18, losing the second set 11-25, and coming back from a 2-10 slip-up to narrowly lose the third set 13-15.
Lizzy was 1/1 setting, 2/2 serving, 6/6 hitting and had 3 digs. Mel was 1/2 setting and 5/6 hitting with 3 kills. Kimberlee was 1/1 serving, 3/3 hitting and 3/6 receiving. Taylor Amiotte was 4/4 setting, 3/3 hitting and 2/2 serving with one ace. Angie was 9/9 setting with 2 kill assists, 9/11 serving with one ace, 2/3 hitting, 3/5 receiving and had 2 digs. Rachel Risse was 23/24 setting with 4 kill assists, 14/14 serving with 2 aces, 2/2 hitting, 6/7 receiving and had 4 digs. Briana was 4/5 setting, 6/7 serving with one ace, 8/12 hitting with one kill, 4/4 receiving and had one dig. Miranda was 3/3 setting, 3/4 serving, 6/8 hitting with 2 kills, 6/9 receiving and had 2 digs. Shiori was 1/1 setting, 3/5 serving, 1/1 hitting, 3/5 receiving and had 12 digs.
The Junior Varsity also played a close game, falling behind and battling back several times. They lost in two sets, however, 20-25, 22-25.
Shiann was 2/2 setting and 9/13 hitting with one kill. Cortne was 1/1 setting, 7/7 serving with 2 aces, 1/2 hitting, 1/2 receiving and had 6 digs. Autumn was 30/31 setting with 4 kills, 7/8 serving with one ace, 13/14 hitting with 2 kills, 5/7 receiving and had 10 digs. Taylor Amiotte was 2/2 setting, 1/2 serving, 14/17 hitting with 3 kills and had 2 digs. Cassy was 3/3 setting, 4/5 serving, 11/12 hitting with 3 kills, 1/1 receiving, had 2 digs and one solo block. Kimmy was 36/38 setting with 8 kill assists, 6/7 serving with one ace, 5/5 hitting, 4/4 receiving and had 5 digs. Roseanna was 2/2 setting, 7/9 serving with 4 aces, 14/19 hitting with 4 kills, 4/7 receiving, had 6 digs and one solo block. Lindsay was 3/3 setting, 5/5 serving, 2/2 hitting, 14/17 receiving and had 22 digs. Sydney was 1/1 setting and 1/3 receiving.
The Varsity played well for the first two sets, 25-16, 25-17, fell asleep in the third 23-25, and finished the Crusaders 25-20.
Taylor was 5/5 setting with one kill assist, 11/14 serving with 5 aces, 43/45 hitting with 20 kills, had 28 digs, 2 solo blocks and one assisted block. Megan was 4/4 setting, 14/16 serving with 2 aces, 11/11 hitting with 2 kills, 24/31 receiving and had 46 digs. Lexie was 8/8 setting with 2 kill assists, 5/5 hitting with 3 kills, had 2 digs and one assisted block. Maria was 46/51 setting with 20 kill assists, 16/17 serving with 2 aces, 1/2 hitting, 2/3 receiving and had 7 digs. Tania was 3/3 setting with one kill assist, 15/15 serving with 2 aces, 40/46 hitting with 12 kills, 16/16 receiving and had 35 digs. Tamee was 50/53 setting with 13 kill assists, 20/21 serving with 2 aces, 2/2 hitting, 1/2 receiving and had 12 digs. Bobbi was 16/16 setting with 6 kill assists and 5/6 hitting. Carli was 2/2 setting, 2/3 serving, 9/11 hitting with 3 kills and had one dig. Rachel was 5/5 setting with 2 kill assists, 1/1 serving, 10/13 hitting with 5 kills, had 2 digs and one solo block. Lindsay was 2/2 setting, 2/2 serving, 1/2 hitting with one kill and had one dig. Haley was 4/4 setting with 2 kill assists, 9/10 hitting with 3 kills and had 3 digs.
