Warriors score 34, shut out Falcons

The Bennett County Warriors football team bounced back from a week one loss to Lead-Deadwood to post an impressive shutout win over Todd County, 34-0 last Friday night in Mission.

The Warriors played solid defense the entire game, forcing seven turnovers; four by fumbles and three by interceptions.

Diggers turn big plays into shutout win over Warriors

Bennett County kicked off the 2019 football season in Martin last Friday night, hosting Lead-Deadwood, falling 39-0 to the Golddiggers.

The visitors didn’t take long to flash their speed as Jordy Stulken took the opening kickoff and sprinted 78 yards for a touchdown. The run for conversion failed making it a 6-0 Digger lead.

The Bennett County track team traveled to Kadoka on Tuesday, April 9, to compete in the Harry Weller Invitational. Bennett County’s next meet will be held Thursday, April 18 in Belle Fourche. (Custer is hosting.)

The Bennett County track team traveled to Belle Fourche on Thursday, April 18, to compete in Custer’s 2019 invitational meet. The Warrior track team brought home good placings from a tough meet full of good athletes.

BC Golf starts season with Elks Challenge

The Bennett County Golf Team kicked off their golf season by traveling to Rapid City to compete in the Elks Challenge Tournament. Due to prior harsh weather conditions, the team came into this meet with two weeks of indoor practice focusing on their short game. Golfers take on brutal weather conditions in Philip
