Warriors football season ends in round one

The Bennett County High School football team ended their season Oct. 23 in round one of the playoffs with a hard fought 28-20 loss to Custer.

Lady Warriors fall in volleyball season finale

The Lady Warriors celebrated Parent’s Night Thursday, October 25, as the Lady Eagles of Wall came to town for volleyball. It was a nail-biting night in both matches. The Junior Varsity lost 23-25, 20-25.

The Jr. High Volleyball teams hosted the Bennett County Invitational Tournament Oct. 6 in Martin.
In the 7th grade pool play, Bennett County captured 2nd in the pool. These girls played their hearts out all day, playing with only five girls on the court for many of their sets.

Warriors playoff run starts Tuesday

Bennett County secured a third seed in the 11A football playoffs by blowing by Little Wound 50-0 Oct. 18, with winds gusting around 45 miles an hour in Kyle.

The wind took the sails out of both team’s passing attack, but the Warriors pounded the ball on the ground and forced the Mustangs into several turnovers on their way to the win in the regular season finale for both teams.
