Bennett County ended their high school football season on a positive note with a resounding 52-0 win over St. Francis Indian School last Friday in St. Francis.

Gordon-Rushville collects football win over Bennett Co.

The Gordon-Rushville Mustangs rolled into Martin last Friday night for a cross-state football matchup with Bennett County and took home a 28-6 win. The fog also rolled in mid-way through the second quarter making it a muggy affair.

Lady Warriors topple White River in 3 sets

The Lady Warriors hosted the White River Lady Tigers in high school volleyball in Martin Sept. 6, earning a hard fought three sets to none win.

It was all White River early as they raced to a 13-0 lead, putting Bennett County in a deep hole in set one. A kill by Bennett County’s Laine Link stopped the Tigers streak.

Warriors fall to Thorpes 38-8

Bennett County traveled to Pine Ridge last Friday and squared off against a much improved Pine Ridge football squad. The Thorpes came to play, putting up 38 points to just 8 for the Warriors.

Bennett County senior Tee Allen accounted for the eight points on a one yard touchdown run and the conversion run. Allen racked up 231 yards rushing for the game on 14 carries.

Bison Shutout Warriors 44-0 in football play

Bennett County traveled to Hot Springs last Friday to take on the Bison and it was all home team as the hosts dominated for a 44-0 win over the Warriors.

The Warriors travel to Pine Ridge this Friday for a 7 p.m. kickoff against the Thorpes for their next game.

Warriors rally for 18-12 over Little Wound

The Bennett County Warriors football team rallied late for a dramatic 18-12 win over the visiting Little Wound Mustangs on with senior Tee Allen sparking both the offense and defense for three scores.
