“Our games against New Underwood and Marty, we started the game without the intensity and energy you need when playing against experienced teams like that,” said head coach Anthony Muilenburg. “The second half of those games we picked it up and played with a lot more effort, intensity, and focus. Unfortunately, there just wasn’t enough time to overcome our deficit from the first half but the heart and effort was there and that’s definitely a positive that we can take away from those two games. No matter what, this group has no quit in them!”
