Each day as Anthony Muilenburg and Abbie Saxton walk into Bennett County basketball practice they are greeted by a 30-strong throng of young ladies ready to get better.

Through the first ten days of practice, Muilenberg said the mood is good and the ladies are anxious to get the season started.

Lady Warriors run into a buzz-saw against Todd County

A tough season opener for Anthony Muilenburg’s Bennett County girls as they opened their season in Mission against a guard-heavy team that ran the floor and applied a suffocating press.

Lady Warriors upset three seed Little Wound

The Bennett County Lady Warrior volleyball team entered the Region 7 volleyball playoffs as the six seed Monday night in Pine Ridge but took out three seed Little Wound in five sets, 25-18, 20-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-11.
