Lady Warriors end season in first round of Regions

The Bennett County Lady Warriors ended their season in Pine Ridge on Monday, November 4, against Red Cloud in the first round of Region 7A play.

B.C. Junior High volleyball takes win against St. Francis

The Bennett County Junior High Lady Warriors took on St. Francis Indian School Thursday, October 17, in Martin.

The “C” team won both sets, 25-14 and 25-19.

The “B” team went three sets against St. Francis, winning the first set 25-17, losing the second set in a close match 25-23, and coming back to win the final set 15-11.

The “A” team ended up winning both sets, 25-22 and 25-14.

The Bennett County Cross Country team traveled to St. Francis on Tuesday, October 8, to compete against ten other teams.

Girls varsity ran a 4K and had 27 runners.

Lady Warriors fall in three to young Philip team

On Tuesday, October 22, the Bennett County Lady Warriors hosted Philip and fell 3-0 to the young Lady Scotties.

Warriors beat Thorpes with big defensive play

The Bennett County Warriors football team ended their season on a positive note, edging Pine Ridge 8-6 last Friday in Pine Ridge. The winning score was set up by an outstanding defensive play by junior Sam Byrne, who intercepted a Thorpe pass, then pitched the ball as he was getting tackled, to teammate Mason Heath, who raced in for the lone Warrior touchdown to tie the game at 6.

The Bennett County cross country team ended their season at the Region 5A meet in Pine Ridge on Thursday, October 17.

There were 11 teams competing in the tough region.

Girls varsity had 52 runners and ran a 5K .

The Bennett County Lady Warriors played well as a team on Thursday, October 3, in the make-up game against Winner but they were no match for the visiting Lady Warriors and senior Morgan Hammerbeck. Winner took home the 3-0 victory.
